How competitions work, step by step
-
Step 1
Create categories, stages & criteria
One event can hold many competition categories. Choose Single Stage (straight to the Final) or Multi Stage such as Qualification → Semi Final → Final, then set weighted criteria that add up to 100%.
- Number of competitors advancing per stage
- Next stage: fresh scores or cumulative
- Tie-break rule set in advance

Step 2
Competitors join automatically from registration
Anyone who buys a ticket package that includes the competition is added to the competitor list with an automatic number (e.g. BF-001). Payment and check-in status sit in the same table — nothing is typed twice.
- Competitor numbers with a category prefix
- Status: competing, qualified, eliminated, winner
- Export the competitor list

Step 3
Invite judges with private links
Each judge receives a private link you can send by WhatsApp and open on any phone — no account or app needed. Judges are assigned per stage and can be replaced, with the reason recorded.
- Re-issuing a link disables the old one instantly
- Judge replacements are kept in the audit log
- See each judge’s scoring progress

Step 4
Judges score on their phones
Judges see the competitor number, score each criterion, and the weighted total is calculated automatically. Scores can be saved as a draft, then locked when final. Locked scores cannot be changed by the judge.
- Automatic weighted total per criterion
- Save a draft or lock the score
- Corrections only by the organizer, with a reason
